Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data Memora collects when you visit or place an order on memoracadres.com, why it collects it, who it shares it with, how long it keeps it and what rights you can exercise.

Who is responsible for your data

GC SHOPPING WORLD LLC, 1209 Mountain Rd Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States, registered in New Mexico under entity number 0008127799, operating the website under the Memora brand.

Contact for any question regarding your data: contact@memoracadres.com

As Memora serves customers residing in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to this processing.

Your child's drawing

This is the most important data you entrust to us, and it deserves to be dealt with separately.

  • What we receive: the photo or scan of the drawing that you upload on the product page when placing your order. This file is attached to your order.
  • What we do with it: it is processed automatically to produce the 3D relief file, then sent to our manufacturer for printing and framing. Nothing else.
  • What we do not do with it: we do not publish it, sell it or pass it on to any commercial partner, and we do not use it to illustrate the website or our social media — unless you give us written permission, on a case-by-case basis and revocable at any time.
  • How long: the drawing and the corresponding 3D file are kept for 12 months after delivery, so that the frame can be remade in the event of breakage or a dispute, and are then deleted. You may request their deletion sooner.
  • A child's drawing: by sending it, you declare that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have their permission. The drawing is not associated with the child's name: we do not ask you for it and we do not need it.

Other data we process

  • Identity and contact details: surname, first name, delivery and billing address, email, telephone number if you provide it. Necessary to fulfil and deliver the order.
  • Order data: product, size, frame colour, amount, history. Necessary for the performance of the contract and for our accounting obligations.
  • Payment data: processed directly by the payment provider. Memora neither sees nor stores your card number; only the payment confirmation reaches it.
  • Customer account, if you create one: login details and preferences.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed. Used for website security and audience measurement.
  • Communications with us: the content of your emails and messages to customer service.

On what legal basis

  • Performance of the contract: order processing, manufacturing, delivery, after-sales service, handling of refunds.
  • Legal obligation: retention of invoices and accounting records.
  • Legitimate interest: website security, fraud prevention, service improvement.
  • Consent: newsletter, audience measurement and advertising cookies, promotional use of a drawing. You may withdraw it at any time, without affecting anything done previously.

Who your data is shared with

Memora does not sell any personal data. It shares only what is strictly necessary with the service providers that make the service possible:

  • Shopify International Limited (Ireland): hosting of the shop and orders.
  • Payment provider: processing of the transaction.
  • Our manufacturing partner, located in China: receives the 3D file created from your drawing as well as the information needed for shipping (name and delivery address). It does not receive your email, your payment data or your order history.
  • Carriers: name, delivery address and contact details needed to deliver the parcel.

Transfers outside the European Union

Two transfers leave the European Union: to the United States, where the company is established, and to China, where the frame is manufactured. These countries are not covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission for this processing. The transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, and are limited to the data necessary for the manufacture and shipping of your order.

How long we keep your data

  • Drawing and 3D file: 12 months after delivery.
  • Order and billing data: 10 years, in accordance with accounting obligations.
  • Customer account: until you delete it, or after 3 years of inactivity.
  • Marketing and newsletter: 3 years after your last contact with us.
  • Technical data and logs: 13 months maximum.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw your consent where processing is based on it.

To exercise them, write to contact@memoracadres.com. We respond within one month. You may be asked to verify your identity.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence — in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies

The website sets cookies that are necessary for it to function: they keep your basket, your session and your preferences, and do not require your consent.

Audience measurement and advertising cookies are only set after you have given your consent via the banner displayed on your first visit. You can change this choice at any time from this banner.

Security

Communications with the website are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to orders and drawings is restricted to the people who need it for manufacturing. As no measure is infallible, please avoid sending us sensitive information through unsecured channels.

Children

The website is not intended for use by minors. Orders are placed by adults. If you believe that a minor has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
